Something to Think About

If you are a believer, have you really grasped that Christ lives in you??

Today many professing Christians indulge in some of every kind of worldliness one might think of. They do whatever they want and claim, “I’m still saved.” But, think about something. If Christ is living within us, what are we causing His eyes and ears to see and hear? Are we taking Him to abominable activities? What kind of host are we to our divine guest? If He really is living within us, and we are knowingly and willingly indulging in sin, how long do we think He will stay if everything we do shouts He is unwanted?

To those who believe “once saved always saved,” I submit that one must examine whether or not they truly are “saved” if they are living lifestyles that mimic that of the world (Romans 12:1-2).

This is not something you will hear from most pulpits and small church groups today, but it is something worth pondering.

Am I abusing Christ with the choices I make?

Are you abusing Christ by the choices you make?

Think about it!

Until next time,

  1. Thank you, Juanita. It is certainly food for thought. I had a recent conversation with a friend on a similar topic and she said we shouldn’t judge but I disagree. We live in a world where those who speak the truth are said to be judging. The truth is the only thing we can stand on when all fails and I believe we are called to live and speak truth. Thank you for your words.

    1. Hello Chioma,
Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts. I think people often do not understand what judging is. Speaking the truth, saying what God says, is not judging.
We are called to speak and live truth, just as you said.
      God bless you!
