I know that I have been MIA for the past 7 months. The fact is that 2020 really threw me, along with countless others, for quite a loop. My family and I were hit with a wrecking ball all out of the blue last year. I personally have felt like I was knocked to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean (I live in Georgia), and I have been slowly crawling back on my hands and knees.
Since my dad went home a few months ago I have not really known what to do with myself. I lost my ability to focus and write. I would try, but no words would come. In truth, I have seriously contemplated closing this blog for good. After much thought and prayer, I do not believe that is what God wants me to do – especially with times being what they are now. Therefore, I am firing it back up for as long as I am able to keep it running.
I thank you for understanding why I have been silent the past few months, and I appreciate your prayers as I get back to life.
I pray that each of you had a joyous Christmas and New Year’s Day with your families. Stay prayerful, stay in the Word, and get/remain close to the Lord. This year is going to be something else, and we must be prepared. We will talk more about that in the coming weeks.
God bless you!

Yay! So glad you’re back! Looking forward to reading future posts!
Thank you Rhonda!
God bless you!
Dear Juanita, I am so sorry for the difficult time you and your family have been through with the loss of your sweet father. I’m so glad to see you back! I appreciate your heart for the Lord, for HIs Word and His people. May God bless you and yours in the year ahead.
Hello Melissa,
Thank you so much for taking the time to read the post and respond with such kind words of encouragement. I must say that I am glad to be back. To actually be able to sit down and write has been a blessing, because I haven’t been able to since May. So I thank God. My next blog post will be posted this week, Lord willing. May God bless you and your family as well this year 🙂
